| Abortion is an option for many pregnant women. Abortion is something that can scar a woman or couple for life. Many consider and use the option of abortion, but for some women abortion doesn't even cross their mind. That is how it was for a woman named Diana and her husband Tom when she was pregnant with her third child. The doctors told her that they could not see a stomach in the baby. They also mentioned that if she did have the baby, he or she would probably only live for a certain amount of minutes or hours. They gave her the option of abortion, but for Tom and Diana there was no hesitation for their answer. They knew that God did not agree with the option of abortion, so they didn't either. God said in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart."
In the end, when they did have their third baby girl, she was as healthy as can be. She didn't die within minutes or hours, days or years. She is still living today.
That baby girl was me. I am so thankful the Holy Spirit came to my parents and let them know that abortion is wrong, because if the Holy Spirit hadn't I wouldn't be alive today!
Psalm 139:13 says "You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb."
